Abilities: Rock Star - Initially a Healer (and he's pretty damn good at it) Lian made his way onto the Rock scene years ago. He's fast and quick with a wand and a guitar!

Lian Li was born in the south west of the United Kingdom. Born to a spiteful couple he was forever torn between the two. His mother - a narcissist with drinking problems - and his father - a drug addict. Lian was in the foster care system until he was six years old and then he was returned to his mother who had proven herself sober and able to provide for him. She said she had changed but behind closed doors it was far from the truth. She drank, she blacked out, she left poor Lian to fend for himself. He learnt to look out for himself from an early age, baked beans on the stove top, emptied cans of soup that he would put in the microwave. He washed his own clothes - and hers - he kept the household because even this life was better than the care system.

Lian didn’t need to suffer this life for much longer. Much to his surprise he was visited by a witch that displayed extraordinary talents. She explained he could have these talents too, if he attended a certain school. His mother was barely awake for the meeting but Lian was excited about what awaited him, although in the depths of his heart he worried what would happen to his mother if he was gone for so long.

Regardless, Lian took that risk. He wanted to be safe, he wanted to be happy, and Hogwarts offered him that. He was sorted into Hufflepuff where his talents blossomed. He worked hard and decided after much deliberation, to become a healer. In his post Hogwarts years he worked hard to gain a reputation as someone safe, someone trustworthy. He knew better than most that not everyone in life had that.

Working as a healer at St Mungo’s was a rewarding but challenging job. He met his wife at the gift shop one day and asked her for coffee, together they settled down, had a couple of children and thought life was rosy. Lian became friends with a ruffian, a rapscallion who taught Lian a little about music and Lian nurtured that talent. He became a guitarist and joined a band called The Hook. The band started getting bigger and touring became a bigger part of Lian’s life. He gave up his job but the strain on his relationship was taking it’s toll on his wife. She found someone else’s arms while he was away and he had done similar, a lot of someone else’s, actually. Their marriage broke down but mutually. They had an amicable divorce and there were no problems with child custody.

Being away from home and his kids was hard but also freeing. Lian gave into the vices that his parents had had and he started to become a problem. He stole, he was arrested for various crimes, and he even got into a few fights where one man almost died after Lian punched him in the jaw and sent him tumbling to the ground, hitting his head. Luckily for Lian the bloke didn’t press charges but it was a rocky time. It was then that Lian decided he needed to seek help. The band broke up and Lian went to rehab and then onto a quieter life.

A few years later, Lian was approached by his old band mate and front man, Raph Hookum, Lian toyed with the idea of getting the band back together again but he knew it would be detrimental to his progress so far so he declined. Another year later and Raph was back, practically begging him, telling him things would be different, they were all so much more mature now, after all. Lian gave in and they started practising again before officially announcing they were back and ready to take on the world.
