Likes: Food, laughter, slapstick comedy, dressing up, dressing down (or not dressing at all at home), cuddles with big dogs, cuddles with little dogs, cuddles with pets in general (though owls aren't good cuddlers, apparently), cuddles with anyone, deep chats, food, parties, anything theatrical, having his hair played with, keeping fit, kicking arse, food, learning about peoples life stories, a really good chair, anything purple.
Dislikes: Losing, being made to feel stupid, people with no sense of humour, hunger, being too hot, being too cold, having to wear boring clothes, people who have a pole up their arse, backstabbers, liars, hospitals (though he sees a lot of them), animal cruelty, boredom, cold/distant people (can't trust 'em), all of his sisters' exes, arrogant people (loves to put them in their place).

Kala Kekoa was supposed to marry someone else. Her father had arranged the marriage, her mother was supportive of the union, and then a man by the name of Samion Knox came along and changed everything. Samion moved to Honolulu for work. A magizoologist, he was there to study the creatures native to Hawaii, and he was incredibly handsome and clever. They met on the beach where he was looking for merfolk, only for Kala to disappoint him by telling him they didn't come close to shore. He'd need a boat. Her father had a boat, luckily enough, and that was the start of a beautiful friendship between Samion and the Kekoa family. And the start of a beautiful romance between him and Kala. The arranged marriage was called off swiftly by Kala's mother, who saw her daughter falling in love, and could not bear to break her heart. A year later, Kala became Kala Knox, and fell pregnant quickly with what would be their only son.

Tebassian Atlas Knox was born on a hot summer day in a beautiful home in Hawaii. He grew up playing on beaches and learning the ways of his mother's people. Surrounded by animals, magical and muggle, and surrounded by love from such a big family, Tebassian (or Tebi, as his mother called him), was a happy child. He had a personality that was larger than life, and a heart as big as the ocean. He became a big brother when he was 4, and doted on his baby sister every day. He adored having a sibling, and was incredibly protective over her, even more so when he got older and his parents announced that they were leaving Hawaii and moving to England so that Tebi could go to Hogwarts, like his father did. Hogwarts? Well, that sounded like a big adventure. As much as his heart hurt leaving his family behind, he took it on the chin and embraced the move, being cheerful and supportive when his sister was scared on the journey.

Hogwarts was a blast. He was sorted into a house called Hufflepuff, which he knew nothing about, but apparently it was a good one, or so his father said. Tebi got laughed at for his weird name in the first week, and insisted everyone call him Knox, though the nickname "Teddy" stuck with him for his first few years of school, mostly used by Slytherins who thought they were better than him. It was only when puberty hit and he shot up overnight, filling out and towering over said Slytherin idiots that they stopped using the name and started ignoring him completely. They were scared of him, his mates said. Knox didn't know why, he wasn't a scary person, just loud and up for a laugh. Then they put a beater's bat in his hand in his fifth year and he realised why he was scary. He was strong. He was tall. And he wouldn't let anyone treat him like crap. Hufflepuff beat Slytherin in their first match of the year, and Knox felt incredible.

He stuck with Quidditch for another year before giving it up, to the horror of the team captain. He just didn't enjoy it anymore. He had other things on his mind, like becoming an Auror. He was acing DADA and was offered the position of captain of the duelling club which he turned down. He didn't want the pressure of being a leader, he just wanted to be able to kick arse and take down the bullies and arseholes of the world. And that's what he did. He joined the Auror training program after graduation and worked hard to make sure he'd be a valuable asset to the Auror department. He's now been there for almost twenty years and is happily taking down bad guys and living his best life. The only thing missing is a wife, which he's sure the Ministry will sort him out with soon enough, as he's had no luck finding one on his own.
