HISTORY Mother: Audrey Weasley Father: Percy Weasley Siblings: Molly May Weasley II Partner: N/A Exes: No one serious. Children: N/A Others: A 12 year old Persian hairball called Jinx. Lucy was the second and last child of Percy and Audrey Weasley. She grew up with a strict father and a loving mother, though she knew how to handle her dad well. She had him wrapped around her little finger as soon as she could talk, her first word being "dada" to her mum's disappointment. Her second word was "moll", her sister, and her mum never got a look in until about the eight word. This all happened at a very early age and she was a motormouth from that point on. Sometimes it was hard for people to get a word in when Luce would go off on one, ranting of venting, or just talking about the things that she loved so much that she hardly paused to take a breath. She loved being around her grandparents and cousins, having so many other people to talk to, she would go around the house on a Sunday bending the ear off every single one of them until they passed her on to the next person, and the next. She was curious and enthusiastic, eager to know what people thought and share her own ideas. Some thought it was cute, others found her annoying, but Luce didn't care. She was happy doing her thing and whoever didn't like it could get stuffed. She was a fiery one, never liking her dad telling her what to do, never liking the way he was so judgey, though it would rub off on her as she got older. By the time she was old enough to go to Hogwarts, Lucy was more judgemental than she would like to admit. She was scrutinising everyone around her. She wanted to know what made people tick, why they did the things they did, and judging them was a part of that. She made friends with other free spirits, sorted into Ravenclaw so she was surrounded by the brightest most open minds in the castle. Luce was a whizz at most lessons, especially Charms and Transfiguration, though she took a shine to history of magic and arithmancy, which her friends found really weird. She liked writing and listening, and writing some more, keeping a diary of every single event that happened in her school days. She didn't want to forget any of it: joining the frog choir, dancing her legs off at parties, having her first kiss in the greenhouses, swimming in the lake to look for mermaids, writing for the Hogwarts Herald. It was all important, even the small stuff, and she wrote in her diary every day to make sure she'd never forget. After graduation, Lucy's dad tried to push her into a "respectable job" whatever that was. Molly was a healer, and that was amazing, Luce loved her sister more than anything and was incredibly proud of her, but she didn't want to follow in Molls' footsteps. She wanted to be her own person, do her own thing, and that led her to writing for the Daily Prophet. She started off as an intern, and then became a regular journalist. Last year she stood in for one of the advice columnists that was off sick, and the editor loved her work so much that Luce was offered a column of her own. It's called Luce Lips, and is a fun space where she can talk honestly about all the goings on in the match world. Who's happy, who's not, who went to Azkaban rather than marry their second cousin. She loves finding out all the gossip and divulging it in her brutally honest fashion. Her column is pretty popular, so she hopes she gets to keep doing it for a long time to come. She also hopes that she never has to write about herself being matched. She could think of nothing worse. OOC Play By: Abigail Cowen Your Alias: Chase Pronouns: She/Her Triggers: Spiders |
