Children: None that he knows of. Others: A million dogs. The firstborn child of Barold and Nancy Belrose, Angel (or A.J as his family called him) was the apple of his mother's eye. Or so he likes to tell people. He was actually a right handful from the minute he left the womb. A demanding baby, and a temperamental toddler, he required a looot of attention, or he'd get up to all kinds of mischief. When his baby sister Isabel was born, he was very jealous of his parents having to split their attention between two kids, and so he was a little terror to Izzy, breaking her toys to make her cry, and doing everything he possibly could to make sure all eyes were on him. Then he went even worse when he got a baby brother at the age of seven. If you were to ask him why he used to behave like that, he wouldn't have an answer, but that was his childhood. Needy and naughty and just outright rebellious. If it was considered bad, Angel would try it twice just for good measure. He loved a thrill and living on the edge, and it got him more attention from his parents, so it was a win/win situation, really. He was smart enough to figure this out by the time he was three, and he kept it up until his Hogwarts journey began. Sorted into Slytherin to the surprise of no one, Angel continued to rebel against the name his parents had bestowed upon him at birth. He was no angel, though he did have the face of one, and that helped tremendously when it came to getting himself out of trouble. He only had to flash his perfect smile and most people thought the sun shone out of his arse. Idiots. A very clever boy, Angel excelled at lessons. He adored defence against the dark arts, charms, and flying, joining the quidditch team in his fourth year as a chaser and loving the attention it got him. He kicked arse in duelling club, thriving when he was up against it or in a tough situation. He had siblings and cousins at school at the same time as him, and he liked having family around, especially his cousin Leo, who was a year older than him. They were the two eldest kids in their family, and they bonded over it a lot during school, both being in the same house. Angel would stick up for Leo when people were being arseholes to him. Nobody dared say a word to Angel about his blood status, he had the face of a god and the body of an Adonis, and they all wanted to be him. Leo did teach him to throw a mean punch, though, which he did use quite a few times. After graduation, Angel went into training to become a hit wizard. It wasn't exactly his dream job, but he wasn't sure what he wanted to do really. What would make him happy? Not sitting in some office filling out paperwork or being bored out of his mind behind a shop counter. He needed something active, stimulating, challenging. He stuck with the hit wizard thing for four years until something much tastier landed in his lap. He got tangled in a relationship with a woman who was a cursebreaker. She was fiery and fearless, and the stories she told him about her work were thrilling and just the kind of thing Angel knew he would have loved to do, himself. She encouraged him and supported him while he chased his new goal, and by the time he was twenty five, Angel was working for Gringotts as a cursebreaker. He loves the adventure and danger and thrill of it all, travelling the world, risking his neck every day. It gives him an outlet for his temper, and he still manages to be the talk of the dinner table with his parents, who go on and on about how he needs to have a more sensible job and stop risking his life. Sure, it's bad attention, but then that's all he's ever known how to seek. Angel loves his family, his sister and brother, his cousins, he really does, but he also wants to be the main event in any room they're all in. He can't help himself, and he's so good at it.
