Question of the Week - 1

Roast lamb with all the trimmings followed by a whiskey filled chocolate cake

Roast lamb has always been Helley's favourite Sunday roast, ever since she was little. She loves it with just about any veggies but roast potatoes (the crunchier the better), mashed parsnip, and some form of carrots are a must. She loves a dollop of mint jelly (although sometimes it's nice to change it up with some mint sauce), gravy, and a couple of Yorkshire puddings. She will fill her plate and finish it off. And what's the perfect dessert to the perfect meal? Izzy's homemade chocolate cake made with far too much whiskey. Only a recent addition but Merlin was it delicious. As for drinks, Helley prefers water. Just regular old tap water.

Champagne

Any food tastes better accompanied by a bottle of champagne! Actual food-food? Lilith doesn't have a favourite. She likes different things, she's not really a fussy eater, and she's always had someone to cook for her/eats out a lot, but she doesn't have a favourite food, just a favourite drink.

Lettuce Cups

When Jaspy was learning to become a Healer money was a bit tight. Sure he could have gone home for a good meal (and sometimes he did) but mostly his money went on a shared apartment with his mates and into his savings so he could afford his first home some day, and one of his quick meals was lettuce cups! He'd just get an ice burg lettuce, grab a leaf, and fill it with whatever he had in the fridge. Bolognaise, ham, cheese, lasagne. Literally anything edible could go in and Jaspy still loves the cool, crisp lettuce cups for a snack, it's just so quick and yummy!

Candy Floss

With the sweetest of sweet tooths it's no wonder than Ozzy straight up loves candy floss. It's sweet and sticky and melts on your tongue and sometimes there's hardened little crystals of sugar to just crunch on. It throws him right back to being a child at village fairs having the time of his life!

Strawberries

Pop it on the edge of a glass of champagne, pop a few in a bowl with some cream, drizzle them in chocolate, create the tastiest sauce, trail one down the body of your lover. It's the tastiest, sexiest food imaginable and Lian's favourite.

Anything With Gold Leaf/Her Mum's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Decadent and expensive looking, Nova will pick just about any menu item that comes with gold leaf or gold flakes but in reality her actual favourite food is her mum's homemade chocolate chip cookies. Slightly gooey in the middle and perfectly cooked around the outside. She gets some every year for Christmas and she makes them last to the New Year.

Pan Seared Rib Eye Steak

Auggie is the legit snack, people! Look at him, taste him, bite him, nom him all up! Nomnom!! Okay, now I've got that out of my system, Auggie's favourite food is a simple one. He's not a complicated guy and a good cook to boot but he loves to make a good, perfectly pan seared rib eye steak about an inch or so thick. He changes up the sauces and the sides every time he cooks, but a simple steak is just the tastiest. He likes it a little more on the rare side and the hardest part of cooking a steak? Giving it an appropriate time to rest before tucking in.
